Is home staging expensive?

Well, it costs more than bottle of all-purpose cleaner, but a whole lot less than a true home “remodeling.” The great thing about home staging from Unique Staging & Design LLC is that we can work with every budget, big or small, and every little bit helps. Our services start at a very reasonable fee, which will be far less than your first price reduction. The real number you need to look at is how much more money you’ll make by spending a mere fraction of that up front. 

Can’t I stage my own home?

In as nice a way as there is to say this, no, you really can’t. And it’s not because you might not have an eye for design, but living in a house often causes you to lose your objective approach to decorating it. What you consider “character,” others may see as a flaw. Home staging, in its purest sense, is marketing, and it’s simply a better idea to leave that to the people with many years of experience.

Don't homebuyers use their imagination while looking for a home?  

Studies have shown that only 10% of homebuyers can truly see the potential of a home. Sure, a buyer will know what their couch looks like and they might think about where it would go in your living room, but what home staging does is set up your furniture, lighting, and interior space in such a way that the prospective buyer gets new and exciting ideas about what they can do with their things. That feeling of excitement and promise is what sells your house.

What if I’ve already moved out of my house, can it still be staged?

Of course! Home staging for a vacant house is just like setting up a model home. We’ll paint the walls, bring in furniture, and set the mood, if you will. Empty, half-empty, or totally full, we can stage any home.
